In the age of modern technology and digitalization, Birsterminal and lbase are pursuing the goal of providing future-proof logistics software as a central warehouse management and control system. Starting with a redefinition of the processes in the warehouse, steel and bulk goods areas, Birsterminal wants to remain competitive in the long term and use lbase to serve both existing and new customers efficiently and semi-automatically.
What challenges had to be overcome before implementation?
The increasing complexity of manual processes presented exciting challenges, particularly in terms of efficiency and accuracy. Without automation, operating costs were higher than necessary and data consistency was a challenge to making informed decisions. At the same time, the company's rapid growth required scalable IT solutions to meet increasing demands and remain successful in the long term.
